The 2013 Birthing Kit day was a resounding success!

Thanks to everyone’s contributions of time, energy and funds, we were successful in completing 12,000 kits this year – ahead of time (by just after 11am)!!

It is time to register! 

Registrations are now open for the 2013 Zonta Birthing Kit Assembly Day on

                  Saturday 17th August 2013. 

This year we are aiming to assemble 10,000 kits vital to the women in regional areas ofPapua New Guinea and other developing countries.

Each year corporate and community groups and friends pack birthing kits for third world countries.  It is great for bonding, fun and laughter while making a real difference.  Do you remember last year’s event?  See here!

We have already been fortunate to receive the kind assistance from companies and individuals however we seek your support now by donating to this cause as we need to raise additional monies to fund the required materials to enable us to assemble the 10,000 kits.  Please click on this link to our websiteto volunteer or register your donation.

Well it is that time again!

The 2013 Zonta Birthing Kit Assembly Day will be held on Saturday 17th August 2013 (SAVE THAT DATE!),  Registrations will be open from 6th July 2013 but for now we need your financial support to reach our goal to assemble 12,000 kits vital to the women in regional areas of Papua New Guinea and developing countries of Africa.

We have already been fortunate to receive the generous assistance from some organisations, however we seek your support now by donating to this cause.  We need to raise additional monies to fund the required materials for us to assemble the 12,000 kits.  Please click on this link to our website to register your donation.

Our next fundraising event is going to be one of our infamous movie nights with an exclusive screening of The Great Gatsby! It will be held Tuesday 4th June at 6pm at Palace Barracks Cinemas. It will be a great night so get a group of friends and/or family together and grab your tickets now!

Proceeds from our movie nights go towards funding our service projects – Queensland Working Women’s Service and Women’s Legal Service, who do invaluable work for women throughout our community. We hope to see you there and supporting these great causes.
