The Zonta Club of Brisbane Breakfast supports a range of local that empower women and girls to reach their full potential.
When considering new projects to support, the following criteria are considered by the Zonta Club of Brisbane Breakfast:
Social inclusivity
We are committed to working with like-minded, community/not-for-profit organisations who provide services to support women and girls facing disadvantages and challenges which disempower them.
Outcomes
All proposals for financial support must be able to demonstrate discrete, measurable outcomes which will be delivered as a result of the financial support provided.
We will look for opportunities for members to be able to provide hands on support to complement the funding support.
Innovation
Requests for financial support will be prioritised for projects / services that don’t meet the criteria of other funding / grant sources, with a focus on addressing the root causes of inequality and disadvantage, for example prevention of violence against women and girls through education.
Accountability
Funding recipients must be able to demonstrate adequate governance to indicate sound financial management and the ability to report on the funding provided.
Funding recipients must submit progress reports on the expected outcomes as outlined in their proposal.
Partnering
We will look for opportunities to partner with reputable, socially-minded organisations to maximise fundraising opportunities and outcomes for women and girls in our community.
