2013 Birthing Kit Day

What a wonderful day we shared with 381 volunteers when fellow Zontians from the Brisbane Breakfast and Brisbane South Clubs plus many corporate and community groups, family and friends assembled 12,000 birthing kits to be  delivered to PNG, Kenya, Nigeria and Somalia (first delivery!).

This event equated to 1,155 volunteer hours which is greater than 48 days! The auditorium was full of enthusiasm, chatter and energy. It was a huge sense of achievement when by 11.15am our job was complete.

Our sincere thanks to all our volunteers and to our  corporate sponsors who have continued to be very supportive of this project.

The 2013 Zonta Birthing Kit Assembly Day was  held on Saturday 17th August 2013

The success of this special day is driven by the regular sponsorship of so many friends, Zontians and the Brisbane community.
We thank you so much for your continued support.
